Puerto Morelos, Mexico, January 7, 2010 - There is an
area between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico called Puerto Morelos. It
is a small village of less than 2,000 people known mostly for fishing. In
the town you will a few stores, restaurants, and some fruit stands. This is
an area that is mostly overlooked or passed by on the way to Playa Del
Carmen.
Just North of Puerto Morelos there is a private subdivision of homes. The
homes were built by a private Cancun developer for Mexican people and until
now has only been marketed to them in Spanish. Due to the slow market last year the
developer has agreed to release blocks of homes to foreign investors.
This is great news for foreigners looking for a 2nd home or vacation home.
The developer released these homes to a local realty company giving them
the exclusive sales contract. Cheap Mexico real
estate is now able to offer homes to U.S., Canadian, European, and
other foreigners. The best part about this is the price. Nearly anyone can afford to own one or
more of these homes. The price is only $39,500USD + $5500usd for closing
costs. The homes are 2 bedroom 1 bathroom with 688 sq. feet. All have good
title and utilities including phone lines. It is just across highway 307 near
Puerto Morelos and the famous Crococun Zoo. Incredibly it is less than a 12
minute drive from the Cancun airport and 5 minutes to a beautiful
beach. Homeowners may add additional
construction to the rear of the home and/or a 2nd level. the front of the home can also be
customized with a porch or a gate, etc.

think that in 2010 it is still possible for folks to purchase a 2 bed 1
bath vacation home this close to everything for under $50,000usd. This is less than some people pay for
their car or truck.”
